Blockchain technology and digital assets are soaring to the center of economy and industry in 2025.
The US government, who had been improving clarity in regulations with the approval of Bitcoin ETF and passing of the FIT21 bill, continued the pursuit of digital asset friendly policy implementations in the 2nd Trump administration, and the traditional financial sector is actively embracing innovation by implementing blockchain technology. MiCA came into effect in Europe which provided a specific regulatory framework, and began to show effects of investor protection in previously neglected blind spots. Movements to clarify related regulations and promote the industry in Korea are increasing, and the once stagnant policies are joining the global trends.
